In January of 2010, the 67th Annual Golden Globes took place shortly after the natural disaster in Haiti, claiming hundreds of thousands of lives. In a gifting suite event, Cash 4 Gold raised money for the victims and gave dozens of celebrities an easy and direct opportunity to contribute.
One of the celebrities who stopped by the Cash 4 Gold was Billy Burke from “Twilight,” who wore a Cash4Gold medallion while throwing “gold” coins into a pot. Each coin the celebrities made added to Cash4Gold’s donation to the American Red Cross Haiti efforts.
This gifting suite funds were not the only method Cash4Gold used in contributing to the Haiti cause. Cash4Gold employees also collectively gathered hundreds of pairs of shoes to send to Haiti through Soles4Souls.
