Cash4Gold is a service-based business helping those in need.  That is exactly what the world’s leading gold buyer did following terrible natural disasters in Indonesia, the Philippines, American Samoa and the state of Georgia.  The disasters required immeasurable aid and resources in each location to help feed residents who were deprived of basic resources.

MC Hammer tweeted to his more than 1.5 million followers to let them know how dire the situation was in each place.  Cash4Gold, along with its celebrity spokesman MC Hammer, have dedicated time and resources to help people who are less fortunate.

Immediately following the disaster, MC Hammer called his close friend Jeff Aronson, Cash4Gold’s CEO, to see if he would pitch in with the relief efforts.  Aronson was quick to jump on board and do whatever he could to help the victims of the natural disasters.

MC Hammer & Cash4Gold collaborate to build support for Natural Disaster victims
Posted on Friday, October 2, 2009

International hip-hop sensation and three-time Grammy Award-winner MC Hammer and leading mail-in gold buyer Cash4Gold have teamed up to assist hunger relief organization Feed The Children in the wake of recent devastating natural disasters in the Philippines, American Samoa and Indonesia, and the widespread flooding across Georgia.
“I am asking my followers on Twitter to also follow my example and to do their part to help out those involved in these tragedies,” said MC Hammer. “Thousands of people here at home and abroad are facing a very difficult time, which is why I’m urging everyone to support Feed The Children, a tremendous organization helping to get these victims back on their feet.”

MC Hammer has a long-standing relationship and history of charitable work with Feed The Children. At a recent event sponsored by Cash4Gold, he and Cash4Gold CEO Jeff Aronson helped the organization hand out meals to families hard hit by the recession in the Stockton, CA area.

Following the news of the disaster in the Pacific and the widespread flooding in Georgia, MC Hammer immediately turned again to his close friend Aronson, asking that Cash4Gold donate as well. Cash4Gold, which featured MC Hammer and the late Ed McMahon in a critically acclaimed Super Bowl ad earlier this year, was quick to join the legendary performer in providing support for Feed The Children.

“We’re proud to join our friend and three-time Grammy Award-winner MC Hammer in helping the victims of these recent tragedies,” said Cash4Gold CEO Jeff Aronson. “We are honored to back Feed The Children, and we congratulate Hammer for doing so much to bring much-needed attention to their worthy efforts. As the head of a company that is currently expanding internationally, I see this as the first step in making sure our charitable efforts also extend around the globe.”

In addition to his financial contribution, MC Hammer is mobilizing the masses to support Feed The Children by sending out tweets to his more than 1,500,000 followers on Twitter. To follow MC Hammer on Twitter, please visit http://twitter.com/MCHammer.
